We charge for solid waste. The cost is $2.00 per bag up to 33-gallon size bags. We also accept scrap steel, building materials, appliances, furniture, etc. A list of charges is enclosed. The attendant on duty will also be available to give you the cost.
Recycling
We encourage recycling, and we accept plastic #1 and #2, glass bottles in clear, green and brown. We do not accept plastic bags and Styrofoam. We accept newspaper, office paper, cardboard, cardboard, magazines and aluminum can and tin cans. We also accept waste oil.
These items are accepted at no cost to you. All cardboard must be broken down before being put in the dumpster.
Brush Disposal
The Brush Dump Complex is located approximately 2 miles west on the south side of Danish Settlement Road.
Hours of operation are the first Saturday of each month beginning in May and running through the first Saturday of November.
Hours are from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Only grass clippings, tree branches, stumps and leaves are accepted at the facility. All other material must be disposed of at the solid waste center.
